I materiali vengono manenuti nella condizione reale in cui si trovano, con l'idea di dare forma ad un concetto astratto come il tempo.
Le uniche modifche all'edificio consitono nel rifacimento del manto di copertura con coppi bianchi , e la trasformazione di uno spazio accessorio in cucina.
Il grande tavolo di 6,50 metri di lunghezza, diventa luogo in cui si preparano i cibi, in cui si consumano i pasti e sul quale si fanno i compiti , recuperando e rinnovando una tradizione domestica dell'abitare italiano.
