Appartamento
A ELLE

Mantova

The AL apartment is the first step that led us through a new line of research.

Let's try essentially to keep two worlds together, that of the old and that
of the new, in a balance able to guarantee the identities of both, in which light and shadow are maintained in their ambiguity and plurality, without sacrifice the reasons of one at the expense of the other.

The precision of the day, and the sensuality of the night held together by a narrative that taduce them into a form capable of containing them
the other degree of ambiguity.
The precision of the element designed with great rigor, juxtaposed to the imperfect element into which the action of time has transferred an energy unusual for the material.

Beauty can be found everywhere and is not related to value
intrinsic of the material.

It is found mainly in fragments, in evocative forms and in
relations.

We believe that "relationships" represent the most important theme of the our design path.

It is the way in which things are related that generates a
new knowledge and a new beauty.

Our privileged relationships try to hold opposites together,
like strength and fragility, the perfect and the imperfect, the
sheen of a piece of furniture just out of the factory with unpredictability and materials that have fallen into a state of neglect.
