La mostra è articolata in due sezioni.
La prima si confronta direttamente con lo straordinario ciclo di affreschi a tema cavalleresco, mentre la seconda propone una lettura della relazione tra l'arte tardogotica in ambito lombardo-veneto e il Pisanello.

Nel primo caso l'allestimento è stato pensato in forma di piccola architettura allo scopo di istituire un rapporto adeguato tra la dimensione delle piccole opere esposte e le dimensioni della grande sala monumentale.

Nella seconda sezione il visitatore è accolto da un apparato che cela parzialmente la vista della straordinaria opera che chiude la mostra. La successione delle opere pittoriche, inquadrate da un fondo nero che astrae le opere del contesto, vede anche l'inserimento delle opere scultoree la cui plasticità è esaltata dall'allestimento che ne consente la completa visione nelle tre dimensioni.

The exhibition is providing two different sections.
The first part deals with the extraordinary cycle of chivalric-themed frescos, while the second part offers a dialogue between late Gothic art of the lombard-venetian context and Pisanello.

In the first case the exhibition was conceived as a proper small architecture in order to establish an adequate relationship between the size of the small works on display and the size of the large monumental hall.
In the second section the visitors are welcomed by a veiled structure that partially conceals the view of the extraordinary sculpture that will close the exhibition. The succession of the pictorial works, framed by abstract black backgrounds that emphasize their presences from the surroundings, is fulfilled with the some sculptural works whose plasticity is enhanced by a set-up that allows them to be fully appreciated in detail and different point of view.
